China's paste resin trade showed divergent trends in July, according to the latest data from China Customs.
* July 2025 - Paste Resin:
* Imports: 7,100 tons, down 13.78% MoM and 28.46% YoY
* Exports: 10,200 tons, up 53.26% MoM and 48.67% YoY
* Cumulative Jan–Jul 2025:
* Imports: 59,700 tons, down 2.50% YoY
* Exports: 75,700 tons, up 18.50% YoY
Import Sources (Jan–Jul) - Paste Resin:
* Taiwan, China: 22,800 tons (38.18%)
* Thailand: 10,600 tons (17.76%)
* Germany: 7,000 tons (11.64%)
* Malaysia: 6,700 tons (11.26%)
* South Korea: 6,300 tons (10.47%)
Export Destinations (Jan–Jul) - Paste Resin:
* Russia: 49,700 tons (65.64%)
* Pakistan: 3,800 tons (5.03%)
* Vietnam: 2,500 tons (3.26%)
* Uzbekistan: 2,400 tons (3.18%)
* South Korea: 2,200 tons (2.95%)
China's exports remained buoyant, led by robust demand from Russia, which accounted for nearly two-thirds of total shipments. On the import side, Taiwan, Thailand, and Germany continued to dominate supply.
