East Asia includes Mongolia and the 10 ASEAN countries:
Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Brunei, and the Philippines, totaling 11 countries.
West Asia comprises 18 countries (including North Africa's Egypt and Europe's Greece and Cyprus):
Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Greece, Cyprus, and Egypt.
South Asia consists of 8 countries:
India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Nepal, and Bhutan.
Central Asia has 5 countries:
Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) includes 7 countries:
Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Moldova.
Central and Eastern Europe consist of 16 countries:
Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia.
In January and February 2024, the STI "Belt and Road" countries' trade index for import and export stood at 226.47 points, marking an increase of 4.95% compared to the same period last year. The export trade index reached 253.38 points, reflecting a 6.96% rise year-on-year. Meanwhile, the import trade index was recorded at 195.29 points, indicating a 2.08% annual growth.
