The black soil area is 24.8986 million hectares, accounting for 27% of the total area of black soil in the world. The humus layer is 60-80 centimeters, and the humus content is 4.7%-6.1%. There are abundant water resources and convenient irrigation, which is suitable for agricultural production. The main crops in Ukraine include cereal grains, oil crops, sugar crops and potatoes. In January 2024, the countries with the most imports to Ukraine were: China - 1.1 billion US dollars, Poland - 568 million US dollars, Germany - 388 million US dollars; Ukraine exported the most to Poland - 334 million US dollars, Spain - 322 million US dollars, China - 305 million US dollars.
In June, the top ten most popular export products of Ukraine remained stable. Compared with May, the sales volume of ores decreased by 1.5% to 239 million US dollars, while the export volume of flat products increased by 7% to 79 million US dollars. Poultry sales decreased by 3.5% to 79 million US dollars, but soybean exports increased by 45% to 66 million US dollars.
In June 2024, Ukraine's import value of goods was 4.8 billion US dollars, a decrease of 5.6%. In the first half of 2024, the total value of imported goods in Ukraine was 31.9 billion US dollars, an increase of 4.9% year-on-year.
