CHINACOAT 2024: The Annual Global Coatings Industry Event

CHINACOAT, the "China International Coatings Exhibition" is the premier annual event for the global coatings industry, showcasing products and technologies spanning the entire coatings supply chain.

Held alternately in Shanghai and Guangzhou, CHINACOAT serves as an international platform for suppliers and manufacturers to connect face-to-face with a global audience, particularly from China and the broader Asian region. Asia continues to be the most dynamic growth region worldwide, with projected economic growth rates of 4.2% for Asia and 4.6% for China in 2024—both well above the global forecast of 2.7%. Emerging economies such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia also present high-growth opportunities. Factors such as robust economic growth in China and India, expanding populations, increasing infrastructure investment, rapid urbanization and industrialization, rising disposable incomes, and growing demand for coatings in various industries will continue to drive the global coatings market. The Asia-Pacific region is expected to outpace global growth averages in the coming years.

CHINACOAT 2024 will take place from December 3 to 5 at Area A of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Covering over 91,500 square meters across 8.5 halls (Halls 1.1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, 1.2, 2.2, 3.2, 4.2, and 5.2), the event will host more than 1,310 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions. They will showcase cutting-edge products and technologies designed to meet the evolving needs of downstream industries.
