2024 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition Sets New Records in Scale

On the morning of October 26, 2024, the 2024 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition opened at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. More than 2,600 domestic and foreign exhibitors signed up for the exhibition, with a total exhibition area of 250,000 square meters and a visitor count exceeding 200,000. This year's exhibition is themed "Forging New Qualitative Productivity in Agricultural Machinery to Accelerate the Building of a Strong Agricultural Country", comprehensively presenting the multi-scenario applications of smart agriculture and intelligent agricultural machinery.

The China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition is a major event in 2024 and has been held in cities such as Wuhan and Qingdao in previous years. In the past, the maximum number of exhibitors was about 2,300, the largest exhibition area was 220,000 square meters, and the maximum number of visitors was 150,000. This year's exhibition has set records in terms of the number of exhibitors, exhibition area, and visitor numbers since its inception.

Also, this year marks the first time that the international agricultural machinery exhibition has been held in a city south of the Yangtze River in China. The organizers stated that Hunan represents the landforms and agricultural characteristics of many southern provinces. In the wave of mechanization and intelligentization in hilly and mountainous areas, the crawler tractors, rotary tillers, factory seedling-raising equipment, etc., produced by many outstanding enterprises in Hunan are representative products suitable for the southern farming scenarios. This exhibition has specially set up the Hunan exhibition hall (Hall W1), and Zoomlion, CRCC Heavy Industry, Yiyang Fujia, Chenzhou Grains and Oils, Nongfu Machinery, Nongyou, and many small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises have all made their appearances.

As the number one agricultural machinery exhibition in Asia and a well-known exhibition in the world, the 2024 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition has added three foreign exhibition groups, with Italy, Germany, Canada, Turkey, Japan, Algeria, South Korea, etc., participating in groups. During the same period of the exhibition, the 10th Member Meeting of the Council of the Asia-Pacific Agricultural Machinery Association, the China-Russia Smart Agriculture Docking Meeting, the Thailand and Vietnam Agricultural Machinery Market Analysis Report Meeting, etc., will be held. It also grandly launches the overseas sister exhibition of the China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition - the Thailand International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (CIAME Thailand).
