China's Pesticide Water Solution Export and Import in 2024

Imports of China's Pesticide Water Solution:

In 2024, China imported 82,100 tons of pesticide water solutions, marking a 6.4% decrease compared to the previous year. The total import value was $814 million, a 16.4% drop year-on-year. The main imported products were insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and plant growth regulators. 

- Insecticides: 8,212 tons, an increase of 7.7% from last year. The import value was $202 million, down 10.1% from the previous year.

- Fungicides: 27,200 tons, a decrease of 5.0%. The import value was $287 million, down 24.2%.

- Herbicides and Plant Growth Regulators: 16,700 tons, a decline of 18.7%. The import value was $129 million, down 30.7%.

Exports of China's Pesticide Water Solution:

In 2024, China exported 3.1761 million tons of pesticide water solutions, representing a 28.8% increase compared to the previous year. The total export value reached $9.0 billion, an 11.3% increase year-on-year. The major exported products were herbicides and plant growth regulators, which accounted for 68% of total exports.

- Insecticides: 550,500 tons, an increase of 19.9%. The export value was $2.23 billion, a 16.5% rise from last year.

- Fungicides: 243,700 tons, a 40.4% increase. The export value was $1.11 billion, a 26.4% rise.

- Herbicides and Plant Growth Regulators: 2.1731 million tons, a 31.0% increase. The export value was $5.23 billion, up 7.9%.

- Disinfectants: 173,200 tons, a 16.4% increase. The export value was $330 million, a decrease of 11.2%.
